We are looking for a Lead Engineer & Software Architect for Automation Development to take the technical lead in this exciting and rapidly evolving environment.

The Role
As the Lead Engineer & Software Architect for Automation Development, you will spearhead the technical development of automation solutions for our product lines, particularly in flat bar and coil processing technologies. You will lead the integration of Siemens control systems into our machines, ensuring that our solutions remain at the forefront of the industry.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the technical development of automation systems using Siemens platforms (e.g., TIA Portal, S7, Sinamics) or Similar systems.
• .Working closely with product development teams to ensure seamless integration of automation technologies.
• Delivering high-performance, reliable automation systems that meet customer requirements and industry standards.
• Providing technical support to engineering teams
• Staying ahead of industry trends to maintain Vaski Group’s leadership in automation technology.
• Contributing to the growth of Vaski Group’s international market presence by developing scalable automation solutions for global applications.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in automation development;
• 3+ years of experience in Siemens control and drive systems is mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Finnish and other languages are a plus).
• Willingness to travel internationally for project assignments.
